WRITTEN SUBMISSION

Our Intensive Training is intended for participants who want to follow Jesus with their whole lives. The training is designed to help our participants know and love God, challenge and reshape their thinking according to the reality of the gospel, and to equip each indivdual to walk this out all the days of their lives. We are looking for students with a posture of humility, and a growth mindset. The following questions are designed to help us understand where each applicant is at, and how they would like to grow. The following questions are focused around the three tenets of the Intensive: Follow Jesus, Cultivate Community and Live Intentionally.

FOLLOW JESUS
One of the main values of the Intensive Training is to learn how to build our relationship with God on a foundation of the gospel. That Jesus lived on earth, submitting himself in human form, he died in the most unjust way, and he rose again, taking victory over death itself. We are looking for participants who are not only aware of this act, but whose hearts are drawn near to the Lord because of it. Tell us more about your relationship with God!

CULTIVATE COMMUNITY
We believe that we are called to foster and cultivate a Kingdom family. A speaker once said, “the only eternal thing that we as humans can create is relationships.” We were not meant to do this journey alone. We value creating a multicultural environment to have space to learn and grow with each other from different walks of life. We pursue vulnerability, depth, and understanding in a community that is dedicated to serving the Lord together, and we are looking for participants who will commit to doing the same!

LIVE INTENTIONALLY
We are committed to creating intentional spaces for growth. This often requires we do things differently, follow a different flow, and embrace practices and patterns within community. We are looking for participants who are willing to push beyond their comfort zone, try new things, and embrace guidance and input from others as they learn to follow Jesus.

* Trying new things often requires we take risks- risks that may result in failure. How do you generally respond to risks that are presented to you?

* Living within intentional community means following a pre-determined schedule, boundaries, and pattern of life. What do you anticipate could be challenging for you within this context?

VIDEO SUBMISSION

Part of our application process is to submit a video. We believe this is an amazing way for us to get to know you and your heart as you apply.

Please create a 2-3 minute video and cover the following:
1. Name, age and where you are from
2. How you heard about the Intensive and what made you want to apply
3. Share one moment or experience in your journey with Jesus that has made you want more of him.
4. Share 1-2 specific areas in your life that you want to grow in during this intensive.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Record your video on your phone or computer and upload it to YouTube as an "Unlisted" video.
2. To do this, go to Youtube.com and click “Create” in the upper right corner (this is an icon that looks like a video camera with a “+” in it).
3. After you video us uploaded, follow the on-screen instructions until you get to the final step “visibility”.
4. On the Visibility Step, be sure to select ‘unlisted’. This means only those with the link can see this video. (it must not be set to public or private, or the link wont work properly.)
5. Once finished, paste the link to your video below, so we can review your video!
6. Videos longer than 3 minutes will not be reviewed, and you will be asked to submit a new one.

As you complete this application please keep the following in mind:

TAKE YOUR TIME.
Please take your time and invite the Lord to be part of the journey as you answer each question. Keep in mind this form cannot be saved and worked on later, so we suggest working on your answers in a different application/document and then copying and pasting them into this application when ready to submit!
YOUR STORY MATTERS.
This is not simply a questionnaire to find out information about you. We deeply value honesty, and want to see and know the real you through this application process. This is an opportunity for our family to have the honor and privilege of hearing your story, and for you to reflect while doing so.
LANGUAGE.
One of our favorite things about this training is the opportunity to live in a multicultural community. However, due to language barriers and time, we ask that all participants of the Intensive Training speak and understand English clearly.
READING/WRITING COMPREHENSION.
Reading and writing comprehensively in English is not a prerequisite for the Intensive Training. However, to effectively consider you as an applicant, we need to hear your heart! Therefore we ask that you complete this application form in English. If English is a second language, we would encourage you to write out your answers in your own language and seek out leaders or mentors around you who can help you translate your answers into this application form.

Upon submission of this form, we will review your application and follow up with you within 2-3 weeks with the next steps of the application process.
